Research Centres and Partnerships

The Fertinagro Research Centres, based in Utrillas, Spain, make use of the creativity and know-how of a multidisciplined group of agronomic engineers, biologists, chemists and industrial engineers.

Both the prime materials and end product undergo continuous quality control inspections at one of five laboratories, notably at the two research and development centres, the CID and the CNPP :

For several years Fertinagro has been working in partnership with several institutional centres of research and development :

• ITA (Technological Institute of Aragon)

• IQS (Chemical Institute of Sarría)

• UAB (Independent University of Barcelona)

• INIA (National Institute for Research into Food and Agricultural Technology)

• Patron member of the AULA-DEI Scientific and Technological Park foundation

These partnerships enable Fertinagro to widen its field of research and put into practice the work carried out at the CID and CNPP more quickly.
